Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl has placed her sprawling Utah mountain estate on the market with an asking price of $10.6 million.
The property sits on 25 acres in the rural Oakley community, located roughly 15 miles outside of Park City, Utah.
The main residence spans approximately 8,000 square feet and offers six bedrooms and seven bathrooms across four stories of stone-and-wood construction.
Listing agent Paul Benson of Engel & Völkers Park City holds the listing for the estate, which features concrete floors and large ceiling beams throughout.
Heigl purchased the lot for $1 million in 2007, the same year she married musician Josh Kelley, and the couple built the home in 2008.
The actress first fell in love with Utah’s mountains at age 17 while filming the Disney Channel movie “Wish Upon a Star” in Salt Lake City.
Heigl and Kelley made Utah their full-time home in 2012 and have since raised three children on the property together.
The home includes a covered deck with a fireplace accessible to upper-level bedrooms, a movie theater, and a spa wing with a sauna and multihead steam shower finished in honeycomb onyx.
The grounds feature a large heated pool with an electronic safety cover, a detached studio that served as both an art space and a leather atelier, and a listening shack rebuilt from 200-year-old reclaimed oak.
Kelley described the shack to the Wall Street Journal, saying, “I brought my record collection and my turntable out there, and it slowly evolved into a place where we have cocktails and listen to great music.”
Heigl told the Wall Street Journal the decision to sell was not easy, saying, “It’s been very hard to decide to let it go. I’m a real sort-of homebody and creature of habit.”
She also reflected on the home’s future relevance, noting that when her children are “all gone—slaying their own dragons and living their lives—it’s just you and me in this giant house on this giant land.”
The couple plans to downsize into a nearby Victorian farmhouse they spent the past year restoring after deciding the sprawling estate no longer fit their next chapter.
Heigl, best known for playing Izzie Stevens on Grey’s Anatomy, also starred in the 2007 film Knocked Up, the USA Network series Suits, and the Netflix series Firefly Lane.
Beyond acting, Heigl is the founder of pet-food brand Badlands Ranch and shares her home with seven dogs and a cat.
Because Utah is a nondisclosure state, final sale prices are not required to be publicly reported once the property changes hands.
