Zacks Analysts Spotlight Goldman Sachs (GS), RTX (RTX), Abbott (ABT), NLI Holdings (NL), And Precipio (PRPO)

Zacks Equity Research has highlighted five notable stocks in its latest Analyst Blog, covering a range of sectors from investment banking to medical diagnostics and defense.

The featured companies include The Goldman Sachs Group (GS), RTX Corp. (RTX), Abbott Laboratories (ABT), NLI Holdings (NL), and Precipio, Inc. (PRPO), spanning large-cap leaders and under-the-radar microcap plays.

Goldman Sachs shares have outperformed the Zacks Financial – Investment Bank industry over the past year, gaining 33.7% compared to the industry’s 22.5% rise.

The company’s earnings surpassed estimates in each of the trailing four quarters, while improving deal activity and a strong investment banking backlog continue to support fee-income growth.

The recent IG Wealth Management collaboration, along with the planned LCN and NEOS acquisitions, is expected to further strengthen Goldman’s Asset and Wealth Management division.

RTX (RTX) shares have outperformed the Zacks Aerospace – Defense industry over the past year, rising 27.2% versus a 9.5% decline for the broader industry group.

The company ended the second quarter of 2026 with a backlog of $289 billion, supported by strong bookings from the Pentagon and foreign allies, though supply-chain disruptions and tariff uncertainty remain key risks.

Abbott Laboratories (ABT) shares declined 18.9% over the past year, faring better than the Zacks Medical – Products industry’s steeper decline of 28.9% during the same period.

Abbott’s diversified portfolio, led by Medical Devices, FreeStyle Libre, and Established Pharmaceuticals, continues to support steady underlying growth alongside a solid pipeline in electrophysiology, structural heart, and diabetes.

NLI Holdings (NL), a microcap company with a market capitalization of $330.07 million, outperformed the Zacks Electronics – Miscellaneous Components industry over the past year, gaining 15.6% versus the industry’s 11.7% decline.

Broad-based demand in Security Products, industrial growth in Marine Components, and Kronos’ lower cost structure support earnings resilience, though exposure to the cyclical TiO2 market remains a material concern.

Precipio (PRPO), with a market capitalization of $45.83 million, outperformed the Zacks Medical Info Systems industry over the past year, rising 26.5% against the industry’s 16% decline.

Precipio’s investment case rests on rising pathology volumes, improving margins, and a developing products business, including the commercialization of its rapid AML assay through distributor expansion.

Key risks for Precipio include slower pipeline conversion, customer concentration, reimbursement pressure, cybersecurity litigation, and funding sensitivity, though valuation levels suggest meaningful upside if growth and margins improve consistently.
