Trump Plans To Attend Georgia-Alabama Football Game At Bryant-Denny Stadium In Tuscaloosa

Trump announced Friday he will travel to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, next week to attend the University of Georgia versus University of Alabama college football game.

The president made the announcement during a rally in Mobile, Alabama, part of a broader swing through deep-red states ahead of the midterm elections.

Trump said he wanted to “pay respect” to his supporters while announcing plans to return to the state for the high-profile matchup.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. EDT at Bryant-Denny Stadium and will air nationally on ABC.

The Georgia Bulldogs are currently ranked second in the AP Top 25, while the Alabama Crimson Tide sit seventh heading into the contest.

Both teams enter the game undefeated and are widely considered legitimate national championship contenders for the current college football season.

The visit will mark Trump’s third trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium for a football game, continuing a pattern of high-profile athletic event appearances.

Trump previously attended Alabama’s 46-41 loss to LSU at the stadium in 2019 and returned to the university in May 2025 to deliver its commencement address.

Just last week, the president attended the University of Texas versus University of Tennessee game in Knoxville, making the Georgia-Alabama matchup his second college football game in as many weeks.

His most recent prior game attendance before that was January’s College Football Playoff National Championship, when Indiana University defeated the University of Miami.

The Mobile rally represented the latest stop in Trump’s efforts to boost Republican midterm turnout, with the president working to energize his base amid low approval ratings.

The midterm push has taken Trump to several different states as Republicans work to maintain and expand their congressional majorities heading into the election cycle.
