Country singer Jelly Roll is giving his soon-to-be ex-wife Bunnie XO full ownership of their sprawling Franklin, Tennessee compound as part of their divorce settlement.
Bunnie XO, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, made the revelation on a recent episode of her “Dumb Blonde Podcast,” describing the split as the “best divorce.”
The Franklin property was purchased through a trust for $6.2 million in November 2023 and spans close to 7,700 square feet with five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
Built in 2022, the estate sits on nearly 10 acres behind a gated driveway and features a five-car garage, a basement, and a resort-style pool.
Bunnie, 46, said Jelly Roll, 41, whose real name is Jason DeFord, handed over the property because he knows “how special it is” to her.
She said, “We’re literally settling our divorce in, like, what? We’ve done it in three weeks? Two weeks?” adding that he remains her “best friend.”
Bunnie also confirmed that her close friends Meme Shahan and Hailee Clark will soon relocate to the compound, and she plans to care for their animals there.
Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie on May 18, just ahead of their 10th wedding anniversary in August, though the filing only became public on June 15.
Bunnie said a fight on May 10 was the turning point, during which she told him to “file the divorce papers,” later admitting she had spoken out of anger and tried to walk it back almost immediately.
She also noted she had pushed for the couple to attend therapy together, saying, “I felt like we deserved a chance to go to therapy and figure s–t out. He didn’t feel that way, and I respect it. It took me a month and a half now to respect that.”
Despite the split, Jelly Roll will not be left without a home, as he owns a 500-acre farm in nearby Burns, Tennessee, acquired through a trust for $4.5 million in August 2024.
Following that initial purchase, he acquired an adjoining 18.5-acre parcel through the same trust for $500,000 in November 2025, further expanding his rural Tennessee holdings.
Tennessee law requires a mandatory 60-day cooling-off period for couples without minor children before a divorce can be finalized, meaning even this swift agreement must wait out the legal timeline.
Bunnie played a voice message from Jelly Roll on her podcast in which he called her “Mama Bea,” using it as proof of just how “cool” the two remain with one another.
