Biden signs a package of spending bills passed by Congress

President Biden recently signed a $460 billion package of spending bills that were passed by Congress.

This action was taken just hours before the deadline, averting a potential shutdown of many key federal agencies.

The package includes six annual spending bills and is a significant step towards completing the appropriations work for the 2024 budget year.

It’s noted that this bipartisan effort will allow for the hiring of more air traffic controllers, rail safety inspectors, give federal firefighters a raise, and boost support for homeless veterans, among other benefits.
