“Sister, Sister” Star Tamera Mowry Lists Bay Area Home For $2.7 Million Ahead Of Napa Valley Build

Tamera Mowry-Housley has placed her longtime Bay Area residence on the market for $2.69 million as she and her husband pursue their Napa Valley ambitions.

The actress, best known for starring alongside her twin sister Tia Mowry in the hit Nickelodeon series “Sister, Sister,” is 47 years old and ready for a new chapter.

Her husband, Adam Housley, 54, announced alongside her in April that the couple had begun an extensive renovation of a property in California wine country.

Records show the pair purchased the Napa Valley property for $3.8 million in October 2024, taking on a project that had sat vacant since 2018.

The couple listed their Fairfield home in May, roughly 15 years after buying the 4,863-square-foot property for $1.4 million, representing a significant gain in value.

Built in 2005 and situated north of San Francisco on a 0.54-acre lot, the home features five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The listing describes the outdoor space in particular detail, noting the appeal of the property’s setting and amenities for both relaxation and entertaining.

“Outdoor living is where this property truly shines. Salt water pool, gardens, and views. Designed as an extension of the home, the grounds invite both relaxation and entertaining. From morning coffee to evening gatherings, the setting captures the essence of wine country living with privacy and tranquility at its core,” the listing reads.

Mowry-Housley openly admitted to mixed emotions about the transition, saying, “I’m so excited but also a little nervous and anxious because I’m a city girl.”

To document the journey, the couple launched a YouTube series titled “The Housley Farm: Building Our Dream Home,” giving followers an inside look at the renovation process.

The Napa Valley property they are overhauling spans 2,718 square feet and includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms, though it is the land itself that drew the family in.

Adam Housley explained the couple’s broader vision, saying, “We’ve been dreaming about this for a long time. Getting out of the city, getting into the country, teaching the kids and all of us how to be more sustainable to the land, having chickens and an orchard and vineyard.”

He added that it was not the existing structure that sold them on the purchase, saying, “What sold us on the property was obviously not the house, but the setting. The house is going to be our design, obviously, as a family, what makes sense for us.”

The listing agent noted that the Fairfield home makes a strong impression immediately, saying, “It’s hard to explain, but the home has a warmth and energy that people immediately connect with.”
